I have officially found the simplest snack! Baked strawberries. After some time in the oven, this already yummy fruit turns into a naturally sweet gummy treat. How perfect for summer!

It's this simple: Slice the strawberries and lay them on a parchment lined baking sheet. Bake for 2 hours at 200 degrees. And there you have it! A perfect road trip or poolside summer snack.

Although, I must warn you, they can be quite addicting. In a good sweet treat type of way. Baking the fruit is similar in the way that baking bananas makes them more sweet. A larger amount of fructose makes these strawberries the perfect amount of sweet and sour, but keep in mind, they do still have sugar. It may be a good idea to make note of how many you eat.

Also, I'd recommend slicing the strawberries into smaller pieces. These were a little large for my liking, so I would cut them into fourths.
Happy snacking!
xoxo,
SKY
