How can chocolate be low-sugar you ask? Natural sugar. This homemade chocolate always satisfies my sweet tooth, and you can get creative with add-ins too! Oh, and it's vegan :)
This chocolate recipe uses only natural sugar, which makes it much easier to indulge without the guilt. They are very sweet, which is necessary when I'm in the mood to eat an entire cake. I like to add in almond butter and homemade jam, but almonds, coconut, or dried fruit would be yummy as well.
There are many types of trays you can use, but I opted for the simple square tray. These are available on Amazon, or you can spice it up with a more creative mold, which are sold on both Amazon and at Michael's. Be sure to purchase a silicon mold, as the chocolates will be easy to remove.
Let's Make It
Place coconut oil and coconut butter in a pot (with a spout) over medium heat.
Once melted, add honey, stevia/coconut sugar, vanilla, salt, coconut milk.
Stir together and add cocoa powder. Reduce to low heat.
Once melted, transfer to trays and freeze.
This recipe luckily works with coconut oil in place of the coconut butter, considering how expensive coconut butter can be. You can also use regular milk instead of coconut milk if you are not concerned about dairy.
Now, go enjoy some low-sugar chocolate!!

SKY
