Healthy Banana Nut Muffins

After asking ya'll on Instagram about your favorite banana bread add-ins, I knew I HAD to try your ideas in these banana muffins. The added walnuts were an instant upgrade; these muffins were SOO good!


When I first saw that greek yogurt was one of the ingredients for these muffins, I was sold. I love using healthy alternatives in recipes, and this one was already included. Coconut oil, whole wheat flour, greek yogurt: it's a health-food addict's dream!


It tasted similar to the skinny banana bread, but the walnuts really add the perfect touch. They are also less sweet and make for the perfect breakfast treat. Now here we go! The recipe:

If you are unable to find extremely ripe bananas, follow the instructions on my skinny banana bread post to ripen bananas! These muffins would have been much sweeter had I ripened them in the oven. It's a must.
