DIY Gift Guide for Him

It's the most wonderful time of the year: GIFT GIVING SEASON! There is nothing that brings me more joy than watching someone open a gift I spent careful time planning and making. Whether it's for your dad, your boyfriend, brother, etc. I am here to keep you prepared! If you're on the lookout for the perfect gift, these will be a tremendous help. Going the extra mile by making a gift is always appreciated. Plus, it's likely much cheaper!

Beer Bottle Candle

A breakdown of the entire process is linked here! But, if you're trying to save time, I am available to make them for you as well. Please reach out to my email or DM me at @diywithsky on Instagram if you'd like to skip out on the time commitment, but still give an incredible gift!

Personalized Cooler

In greek life, these are a commonality. What I didn't realize, is they make great gifts for dads, grandpas, brothers, etc too! After revealing pictures of my cooler to my dad, he noted that he would absolutely love one as well. The post explaining the lengthy process is linked here, but trust me, the effort will not go unnoticed!

Painted Beer Caddy

Similarly to the cooler, this caddy is super fun to make. Except, less time commitment. It is made using a caddy purchased from Amazon (but feel free to make your own!) and then painted using the same tissue paper method as the cooler.

Engraved Flask

I purchased (yes, I know, not very DIY with SKY of me) this engraved flask for my boyfriend for Christmas last year and he LOVED it! It is such a unique and fun present. The reason I count this as a DIY, is because you can easily paint it instead of professionally engraving it. Using the techniques from the previous ideas will work just as well.

Gift Basket

Okay, Yes! A gift basket is easily the most aesthetic, fun, easy ways to give gifts. I snagged this inspo online, but trust me, it's so doable. It takes a few purchased pieces and combines them into a full-on DIY. Pick a theme, stick to the color scheme, and you're ready to go. For more ideas on gift baskets, visit my post for sorority baskets. Substitute the sorority T's for some bottles of beer and you're set!

Logo Coasters

I have been meaning to make these myself for quite some time, but in the meantime, here is some inspiration! Simply print out any picture you'd like, and modge podge it to a tile. Home Depot sells 9 tiles for $3, an absolute steal! Then add the felt feet to avoid scratching tables. These just stick right on. The possibilities are endless, but I just love these beer logo ones.

Bottle Cap Collector

This is just the best idea! I am very well considering making one for my boyfriend for Christmas this year (If you're reading this Trey, just act surprised). It wouldn't be too difficult to craft from wood scraps, but if you're not up to building one, you can find them on Amazon!

Golf Tee Monogram

This DIY is so simple and fun! Use wood glue to bind a few pieces of wood together, and use tees to create your special guys' initial. Note: keep an eye out for a girl monogram coming to my Instagram soon!

Baseball Bracelet

Does it get any cooler than this?! Love a guy with some man jewelry. The link is posted here, so check it out and get a head start on this super easy DIY!

It doesn't end here! Head to my Pinterest for some more great DIY gifts for him. Cut the brainstorming in half and get to craftin' while there's still time. I'd love to see any of your DIYs, so feel free to DM them to my Instagram, @diywithsky, for a chance to be featured as well!

xoxo,

SKY
